About Us
Chris, Laurie (his wife of 29 years) and their son Zach joined SBC in the Fall of 2020. For the previous decade Chris has served as a pastor of Windsor Community Church in Colorado. With a heart for planting churches, WCC sent him to join SBC in their mission for Sheridan. Chris and Laurie have two other adult children, one in Colorado, one who just moved to Sheridan!
Before being a full-time pastor, Chris worked part-time as a music and youth pastor and also worked 18 years in the HVAC industry. He graduated from the MVCC Pastor's Institute in 2009. Chris and Laurie love being Bible nerds together and love sharing adventures with their kids whenever and wherever they can get them. Chris loves playing and writing music, reading, running (slower and slower every year), and is a self-proclaimed coffee snob.
Adam has served at Sheridan Bible Church since 2019 when he, and others, began to pray and dream about planting a church in the Sheridan community. A native Californian, Adam moved his family business to Sheridan, Wyoming in 2018 along with his high school sweetheart, Brenda, and their two kids Conner and Dana.
Adam has a Bachelor of Arts in Church Leadership and Master of Arts in Religious Studies. In addition to working at his family business, Adam also spent 14 years in full time ministry as a pastor on the Central Coast of California. As a family, the Weatherby’s have a genuine love for the outdoors and often adventure together in God’s beautiful creation.
After relocating to Sheridan, WY in the Spring of 2021, Trevor and his wife Darci started
attending Sheridan Bible Church, where they were looking for a church family that was
passionate about teaching God’s word and would provide an opportunity for them to serve.
Ministry opportunities started with co-leading a small group ministry and eventually led to Trevor
becoming a part of our Pastor/Elder team in 2025. Trevor and Darci are the parents of four
adult children and have recently become grandparents.
Trevor’s ministry journey began in 1997 when he started working for a Christian company that
built and designed Churches. This not only provided opportunity to be involved in ministry but
led him to his current career as Vice President of a Commercial Construction company, in which
he manages the branch office in Sheridan. Outside of raising a family and managing a
business, over the years Trevor has served ministry roles in Awana, Fellowship of Christian
Athletes, Church leadership on an elder board and led many small group ministries. Trevor
enjoys spending his free time with family camping, hunting (with dog Indi) and boat time on the
water wake surfing. Trevor and Darci are also loving their newfound roles as “Papa and Nonna”
and spending time with their young grandchildren.
